Furniture and sightlines
Rounded furniture and wall edges help improve flow and soften harsh corners. Surface textures, open sightlines, and counter heights optimize approachability and a sense of direction.

Order status board
Large status boards at the end of the bar give customers visual cues about order status. They include names alphabetically arranged in three columns: received, in progress, and ready.
Handoff counter
A redesigned handoff counter includes an overhanging shelf with nearly three feet of clearance underneath, creating extra room to approach for customers with wheelchairs, power chairs, strollers, and service dogs.
Equipment
Dimmable interior lighting and power screens on exterior windows help reduce daytime glare and shadows that interfere with visual communication. Suspended ceiling panels help reduce noise and reverberations, including for people with hearing aids and other assisted listening devices.
New more accessible equipment for employees includes a bean-to-cup brewer with a bigger dial and added visual and haptic confirmation to make it easier for employees to know when brewing is complete.
